since i last posted a whole lot has happened.. first of all work is going fantastic! i love my job and i'm so grateful that i've been given this opportunity. in my interview they told me i would be traveling a lot... 6 to 8 times a year. well in my first month at work they sent me on 2 of those trips. the first i went to huntington beach california. i can't really talk about why i went there but it was a great learning experience and i got to meet a lot of smart and interesting people. well i was in cali for about 3 days, getting home on a thursday, i spent the night at home then was shipped off the next day to ohio!!!!
so ever since jed and kera moved to ohio kera and me have been talking about how i need to get a job out there, then once i got my job we were joking that i need to convince my boss that i need to go to ohio for some reason... well before i could convince him he had me on a plane heading toward heath, ohio. it was perfect timing. i didn't have to be there for work until monday so i left friday and spent the weekend with jed, kera, and dalton in oak hill, and then huber heights. while i was there dalton had his first birthday party. kera did so much hard work for dalton's little party and it was soooo much fun! i'm very happy to be the only one (other then his parents) to be with dalton on all of this birthdays thus far. here are a couple of pictures from the ohio trip.
i was so sad to leave ohio, i can't wait to go back and visit again really soon.
since i've been back in utah not too much has been going on. just work, the gym and chillin with friends.
the first week of may i went up to logan and moved my stuff home for the last time. i really enjoyed my college career and i miss a lot of my friends up there but i'm so happy to be in the real world and working.
wade's cousin got married in roy a few weeks ago and his mom and him invited me to come along. it was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun. here's a pic of us at the dinner :)
so my poor little grammy finally had enough of the pain and decided she needed to go to the doctor for her hip. we've been telling her for years that she needs to go and i'm sad that too much pain is what made her finally decide to go. the picture below is the xray of her hip. one of the worse the doctors have ever seen. she goes in for surgery on the 8th of june. i'm so happy and nervous at the same time. i know she'll be fine but it just makes me nervous. i know she is worried but happy to know that the pain is soon over. everyone cross your fingers for her.
last week me and wade had some crazy adventures. monday night we went to the groundation concert at the urban lounge. it was a great concert but late. tuesday we went to the toots concert at the depot. toots is this real old guy from jamaica, he was legit and it was super fun. wednesday we, along with ty, chris, and dani, helped te and jade demo the new dojo. it was fun watching the boys rip out carpet that was all but cemented to the floor. friday we saw iron man 2 and saturday after lots of softball and helping out at the greenhouse one last time we went to te's for a mix. good week!
so yesterday was my birthday! yay for 23. 22 was a great year and i can't wait for what 23 will bring.

as for the actual day of my 23rd anniversary of my birth, i had a fantastic time. i had to work, which was fine because i love it. my boss started the morning off by making me a cake, then his boss took me out for sushi (yummy), the whole office signed a card and left me happy notes, marie (the best admin ever) gave me a bamboo plant that i have named beatrice, it was perfect because my bamboo fredrick just bit the dust, after work lacy, bug and i went to get pedicures, then at 7 wade took me out for a yummy dinner at marcellos in bountiful, he gave me a pretty red rose and some real salt lake gear so i fit in a little better at the games, after dinner we went back to his house and chris, danni, tyson, and trevor came over to mix and hang out. overall a great birthday. thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.

I wish you would have come out now instead of when you did though. I think I still had some winter blues in me. I wasn't myself. I wish I could go back to when you were here and do more with you!
It was a great year Amy Jo. We are sorry we didn't call you yesterday. After talking to you about your cake and everything we dropped the ball and didn't call. We said we were going to wait until Jed got home from work and by then we spaced it. We both thought of it multiple times through the day though.
Hey, Happy Birthday! Sorry we missed the mix. Me and the boys have been sick fighting an ugly cold. Not good for business.
Anyways, hope it was grand. Sounds like Wade did his part :-) See you soon!
